As you already know, I’m a big fan of children’s books, but I also love reading myself. I read whenever I have the opportunity, and this summer I’ve found plenty of time to do so. One of the many books I’ve read this summer, and one of the ones I liked the most is “The Couple Next Door”. I’m a big fan of thrillers, specially those that keep surprising you as you keep reading the book, and this one is just great. It took me three days to read it, that’s how much I liked it. I just couldn’t stop reading.
I won’t be a spoiler, I won’t tell you more than what the back of the book says. It’s about the kidnapping of a six-month-old baby girl and all the police investigations around it. This book it’s not only about the police work but also about families, their secrets, their lies.
Definitely a book you should read, specially if you love thrillers as much as I do. I really can’t wait to read Shari Lapena’s other book, “A Stranger in the House”.
Have you read this book? What did you think of it? Did you like it as much as I did? Do you reccomend me any other good thrillers?
